Trump’s America
Led by a convicted felon,
An adjudicated rapist,
A definite racist,
A corrupt business failure,
A probable traitor,
A thief of elections,
A protector of pedophiles,
A likely pedophile
Trump's America
Where MAGA's secret police,
The American Gestapo,
Disappear people off the streets,
Violently terrorize communities,
Separate families,
And Murder wives, mothers, daughters,
And Poets
Trump’s America
Where truth, science,
And the arts,
Are murdered
Where dreams,
Are murdered
Where futures,
Are murdered
Where humanity,
Is dehumanized
Trump’s America
The dirty “global cop” shaking down
(Like a ridiculously armed clown),
A criminal government,
To extort oil,
To Donroe and despoil,
To distract,
To compensate,
For shortcomings
Trump’s America
Is bigotry, hatred, and othering,
Is trans kids suffering,
Is fear and disruption,
Is billionaires and corruption,
Is raping the planet,
Is carbonizing the world,
Is white supremacy unfurled,
Is me, me, me, and fuck you
Trump’s America
Is the land of the corrupt,
And the home of the silenced
Is exceptionalism,
Of transactionalism
Trump’s America
Is MAGA’s America,
Is the spineless GOP’s America,
Is Musk’s and Miller’s America,
Is White Christian Nationalists’ America,
Is white sheeted racists’ America
Trump’s America
Is no more,
When the people
Have had enough,
Take to the streets,
Protect their neighbors,
Pressure officials,
Boycott and strike,
Run for office,
Build coalitions,
And lead
Trump's America
Is cracking,
It's beginning to show,
Spines are beginning to grow,
More of the people are leading,
As outrage builds from the bleeding
But better will likely only follow,
After worse has increased our sorrow
So don't let up,
Keep the pressure on,
Until this is,
Everyone's America
"So the stage has been set for this [Good's] execution for nearly a year. It’s almost surprising that this didn’t happen earlier, but now that it has happened, what happens as autocracy establishes itself is that the space available for action shrinks very rapidly.
I talk about this a lot when I do public speaking and people ask me: What should we do? And I say: Well, do something. Because whatever you can do today, you’re not going to be able to do tomorrow. So act where you can act.
And one of the places where people have been able to act is ICE Watch — protecting their neighbors against ICE. It hasn’t been terribly effective, but I think as an organizing mechanism and as a community-level action and as protest, it has been extraordinarily effective. It’s what has really brought people together to protect their common values and their neighbors. And that may no longer be possible. That’s what this execution signals: The danger of us engaging in that kind of activism has just grown exponentially.
These are words [concentration camps and fascism] that we try to avoid using because they are, by definition, hyperbole. Part of the reason that they’re hyperbole by definition is because we’ve said that only happens in this past that we have set aside from our lived reality. So if this is happening in our lived reality, if Alligator Alcatraz is being built in this country now, then either we’re living in a country that’s building a concentration camp or it’s not a concentration camp. If protesters are being executed by paramilitary forces in the streets of the city, then either we’re living through fascism, or this is not fascism."

Another head hangs lowly
Child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
Who are we mistaken?
But you see, it's not me, it's not my family
In your head, in your head, they are fighting
With their tanks and their bombs, and their bombs, and their guns
In your head, in your head, they are crying
In your head, in your head
Zombie, zombie, zombie
What's in your head? In your head?
Zombie, zombie, zombie, oh
